WorkingSm@rt Program

The feedback from the teams I sent was overwhelmingly positive (to quote some "the most useful training they ever had"). The main fact is that with increasing stress and workloads the one area of work we continue to overlook is the use of one of the main tools of our job - Outlook. Every time I ask the question to team members, how would you feel if you went home with an empty inbox how would you feel, the answer is always the same - less stressed and in control. For me, Priority Management training is one of the main tools to achieve this. I have been continually pushing this course internally as it is money well spent in creating a happier and more efficient workforce. I am also now trying to introduce this into Germany where the abuse of Outlook (through email and calendar functions) creates massive workloads across the business and I feel that everyone would benefit. It sounds like I should be on commission but even as a self confessed IT geek, I found many of the techniques given during the course essential - absolutely invaluable and delivered in a fun way.

WorkingSm@rt Program

I have completed the WorkingSm@rt with Outlook, WorkingSm@rt with OneNote and most recently the WorkingSm@rt with Teams. As advertised, the training is not as much about learning software as much as it is about using the software to reduce time wastage. Sure, there are is plenty of “how-to” hands on work with the software packages, but the emphasis is rightly placed upon using the software to help better organize and defend against the digital deluge. Whether that is the applying the principles of delegate, delay, delete or dealing with emails, or how to organize your team to use the platforms to their full potential, the training offered was exceptional. I adopted the principles of email management after I took my first course on WorkingSm@rt with Outlook almost a decade ago. At first, I was slow to adopt some practices, fearing I might miss something or forget something. Over time, I have come to adopt all the principles, to the extent that now I go home most days with an empty mailbox. I can’t tell you how much of a stress reliever that is to be able to do!

WorkingSm@rt Program

My platform leadership team and the site leadership teams all benefited from this personal investment in them to help them manage the email nightmare they all live in. It gave them tools to immediately manage this daily, hourly and minute by minute task which landed on us all as electronic systems were rolled out over the years with no guidance on how to work productively with such tools. By having the full team using the same approach it allows us to have the same priority categories etc and have everyone feel they have control over the email burden. Almost all participants thanked me for arranging this course and deploying it globally. Productivity increases of >1 hour per day were reported by all.

WorkingSm@rt Program

End of last year, I participated in the Priority & Time Management Training Programme – Working Smart. During the training you said it would be a life changer and you were absolutely right! Following your instructions helps me so much in keeping everything structured/organized and meeting timelines. Many thanks for this!
